Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your products made?

All of our products are handcrafted from our home office in Washington.

Are your products natural?

We love natural ingredients so we strive to make our products as natural as possible. A majority of our ingredients are natural, naturally derived, or organic but we do use very few other ingredients that are safe for the skin.

Because our products are natural, we refrain from using harmful chemical preservatives that every big company uses. By not using these preservatives, that means that our products have a much shorter shelf life (1-2 years) and as a buyer, you have to be careful to keep water out of your products to preserve its life.

We do use a few natural preservatives such as the probiotic preservatives Lactobacillus Ferment, Lactococonut Extract, Leucidal SF Complete, and Liquid Germal Plus. We also use a few antioxidants that help extend its shelf life such as Grapefruit Seed Extract and Rosemary Seed Extract.

Prior to selling, we do extensive research on each ingredient and test all our products on ourselves (no animal testing!) before we sell our products so we know that they are safe.

Are your products Vegan?

We want to make products for everyone, so a majority of our products are vegan. However, some of our products do contain non vegan ingredients such as milk and beeswax.

How long does a bar of soap last?

It depends! We have had soaps last for up to a month and longer, but it depends on the usage and the storing of your products. Keep your soap dry in between uses to make it last longer (invest in a soap tray and keep away from direct spray in the shower).

Our soaps are cured for 4 weeks or more so that they create a nice, hard bar.

What makes your soap different from popular brands such as Dove? Why should I pay more than a dollar for a bar of soap?

Have you noticed how dry your skin feels after using a supermarket soap such as Dove? That is because the "soaps" you see everywhere for such a cheap price aren't actually soap. What makes soap "soap" is glycerin, which is a moisturizing agent produced when natural oils such as Olive and Coconut oil are blended with Lye.

Commercial soap companies such as Dove remove glycerin in order to sell it to expensive cosmetic companies and instead replace it with dozens of chemical additives that are irritating and strip the natural oils from your skin.

Our soaps will not strip any natural oils from your skin. Instead, it is going to leave your skin feeling moisturized while also cleansing.
